Club Maintenance Day – Sunday 20th March 1pm until 5pm
To tempt members further to help, some wine, soft drinks and nibbles will be provided for all.
For those with green fingers, feel free to bring secateurs, clippers and gardening gloves. Other specialist tools and brushes, etc. will be provided.
Believe it or not the tennis Club is less than 2 miles from the Slough Borough boundary at Stoke Green.
It’s only a little over 1.5 miles to Wexham Park Hospital in Wexham Lea ward and a minute or so longer to Elliman Ward and Central Slough.
Slough residents who wished to play tennis have suffered in recent years.
There was the major loss of the indoor tennis centre in Salt Hill and then there’s the deterioration of pay and play courts.
The Club welcomes players from where ever you reside.
( Less than 5 minutes from Slough )
Come along and try out our wonderful artificial grass courts and floodlights.
On Thursday 8th & Friday 9th April, essential maintenance will take place.
The courts will be out of use for power brushing and distribution of new sand.
The brushing will remove debris and return the courts to a superb condition.
The company who only last year laid the new court surface will carry out the work.
This work is in addition to ANY club member helping out with general maintenance on Sunday, 20th March.
On a damp wet Saturday morning committed mini tennis players turned out for some training.
It was well organised by the Club Junior Organiser – Karen Perez.
There were some strong players from the adult teams helping out.
Thanks to Karen, Nick, Lisa, Graham and Grace.
