Match Tennis
Over the Summer, the main focus for those who wish to play competitive tennis is on the Slazenger Bucks Shield, a multi-division team doubles competition with promotion and relegation. The Club enters teams in both the men's and ladies' events.
This year the Club has also entered both a ladies and mens team in the Aegon Team Tennis competition.
Ladies' match practice sessions take place on Wednesday evenings in the Summer, forming part of "Ladies Nights". A similar arrangement is in place on Thursday evenings for men's match practice sessions.
During the Summer months, players also participate in a mixed event organised by Bucks LTA.
In the Winter, our ladies play in the Bucks LTA Veterans Shield competition. We also enter two mixed teams in the Farnham Common league.
A Club Tournament is held each year with the usual array of singles and doubles events.
